Natures Edge cuts grass. They do it well, they do it on big properties, and until this summer almost nobody online knew they existed. Then we flew a drone over one of their mowing jobs. Here is what happened next, with the real numbers, and the parts of it that apply to you.
The numbers first
Three drone reels. 1.43 million combined views, 165,000 accounts reached, 250 new followers. The best of the three passed 908,000 views on its own. None of it was paid. No ad spend, no boosted posts, no influencer. Just a clip that people could not stop watching and could not stop sharing.
And the clip kept going. That mowing video has since passed several million views across platforms, and it has put Natures Edge in front of people they had no way of reaching before: bigger properties, and conversations with industry-leading teams and companies that would never have found a local lawn care company on their own.
What we actually shot
Nothing fancy. A crew mowing a large property, filmed from above with a licensed drone. Clean stripes going down in real time, the mower moving through the frame, the whole property in one shot so you can see the scale of the work.
That is the whole secret, and it is worth sitting with for a second. We did not invent anything. We did not write a script or hire an actor. We showed the work Natures Edge does every single day, from an angle their customers had never seen.
Why it worked
It was satisfying. Straight lines, fresh cut grass, a job going from messy to finished. People watch that to the end, and watching to the end is what tells Instagram and TikTok to show it to more people.
It worked with the sound off. Most people scroll on mute. The clip made sense in the first second without a word of narration. If your video needs a voice to explain what you are looking at, you have already lost most of the audience.
It was real. No stock footage, no rented set. A real crew on a real property in the Hudson Valley. Viewers can feel the difference, even if they cannot explain it, and the comments on the reel prove it.
The angle did the talking. From the ground, a mowing job is a mowing job. From 200 feet up, it is a pattern, a scale, a piece of craft. Drone footage turns ordinary work into something worth watching, which is why it is one of the most requested things we do.
Then we kept going
One viral clip is nice. A month of content is a business change. Over the next 30 days we posted 81 times for Natures Edge, and the account moved with it: reach up 1,544% to 164K, engagement up 6,556%, followers up 45%. Those are the numbers straight off their Instagram insights, and you can see them alongside our other clients on the case studies page.
That is the part most businesses skip. They get one good video, post it, and wait. The big clip opened the door. The steady posting is what walked through it.
What this means for you
You do not need to be a lawn care company, and you do not need a viral hit. What Natures Edge proves is simpler than that: somewhere in your normal workday is a shot people would watch. The kitchen at 5pm. The crew framing a house. The tasting room with the leaves turning behind it. Our job is to find that shot, film it so it holds attention, and post it often enough that it adds up. We do it from Highland, for businesses across the Hudson Valley.
If you have a property, a job site, a venue or a view, drone is the fastest way to get there. If you have a product, a plate or a space, we have a way in for that too. Either way, it starts with a free quote and a content plan, in your inbox within 24 hours. No sales call. Just the plan, and the numbers you can expect from it.
